This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in upper grade, so their lunchtime is not until the afternoon. They get hungry around recess time, so they need a snack to hold them over until lunch.

Hungry students cannot focus or learn.

I want the students to have a choice of snack so they can keep learning. We all know that kids on empty stomachs cannot learn, get headaches, and tummy aches. Giving them cheese and crackers, granola bars, or veggie straws will keep them energized to learn in the classroom. Help me provide them with snacks that they themselves cannot afford to buy.
