iPads make learning easier for kindergarteners and they are a great first technology before transitioning to Chromebooks.
Learning is FUN when you are familiar with the tools.
There are so many great learning apps for teachers to show their students. Epic is a virtual library that can be used during the school day for free. Teach Your Monster to Read is fun for the kids. They are the ones learning their letters, sounds, and words and get rewarded with letters from their monster character. Starfall is a very popular phonics and math game. Imagination Math will get a little more difficult as the kiddos advance in their learning. Having iPads available for my students will allow them to access all those educational apps and help them improve their reading skills.
