This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are loving, energetic, and always ready to learn! Many of them participate in the free or reduced lunch program for low-income families. My little ones love to explore. My students are always eager to try new learning strategies.
In my classroom, the students love to learn in a hands-on manner.
They love doing experiments, STEM projects, and connecting their learning to literature. The students in my class really love applying what they have learned tot he real-world.
My Project
The Teach Your Heart Out Miami Teacher Conference (professional development) will allow me to learn some new and innovative classroom strategies. This conference will allow me to learn some new strategies that are on the cutting edge and research-based. Learning from the top educators in our country will allow me to take back those teaching techniques into my own classroom.
The strategies that I learn at this conference will allow me to be the best teacher to my students.
It will reignite my passion for teaching and allow me to bring the absolute best strategies back to my students.
