it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this proposal, I am requesting funding for a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. This program will train me in utilizing art as a means for healing and joy. For the past few years, I have worked hard to make the art room a place for joy, mindfulness, and healing, yet I lack the formal training to take my curriculum and art experiences to the next level to use my creative, educational, and artistic talent to help heal my students, The courses are held online and art accessible. I will be able to turnkey my newly gained knowledge immediately into the art room, as well and lead staff PDs to assist in teacher healing and personal growth.
