My Students

Each day that is spent with our students is a day filled with excitement and rigor. Our class contains a complex mix of multicultural backgrounds, varied abilities, and smiling faces. Our students enjoy using the many technological components in our classroom.

This year we have focused on STEM education and computer science in the classroom.

The students have participated in many different STEM challenges and began to write and develop computer code. We see the gleam in their eyes when they participate in these activities. This is what learning is all about.

Our school is located in a family oriented neighborhood in Brooklyn. We are a tight knit school and we consider the children in our class to be the future of our community.

My Project

When the education system shifted to remote learning, the world changed within the classroom. For many of us the four walls of the classroom were no longer our boundaries for teaching. We reimagined our teaching strategies and converted them to digital resources. School will never be the same and the positive outcome is the integration of technology in the classroom. The goal of this project is to secure a teaching iPad without using a device earmarked for students. The ability to mirror what my students see everyday on the smartboard from a teaching iPad would make teaching technology seamless for all! I want to provide the next generation with the technological skills they need to use their technology effectively!
