Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young children are eager to come to school. They arrive wide-eyed and ready to learn, especially through play. They are full of wonder and endless questions, learning to explore the world around them and discovering their likes and dislikes. These requested dress-up items and other dramatic play materials may help children find their passion as they grow and explore.
Dramatic Play teaches children invaluable life skills including social skills, language development, cooperative play, and academic skills.
Allowing my students to express themselves and their imaginations in dramatic play is vital to child development and will enable me to help facilitate endless learning
In a world where technology is everywhere, dramatic play must be inviting, exciting, and socially interactive. I am hopeful these dramatic play toys will be an addition to my classroom and provide a space for my students for countless hours of play and learning for years to come. I can't wait to hear their laughs and curious dialog that will inevitably ensue with access to such a wonderful space, allowing their imaginations to grow and run wild!
