My Students
Our elementary is a school of 450 dynamically diverse students who speak over 20 languages and come from 5 of the 7 continents! We have a large English Language Learner population with many students whose family are refugees. Unfortunately, these students tend not to have as rich a background of educational experiences as children coming from higher Socioeconomic and/or more varied backgrounds. It is my effort to increase my knowledge so that I can share it with my students. I hope you can help me!
My Project
I don't want to miss the Elementary Extravaganza, Friday, March 16! This training will also include 150+ education sessions designed exclusively for PreK - 5th grade that will include:
Bite into 3-D Learning: Shark Teeth and Science Integration
Integrative STEM (iSTEM) for Little Learners
Contraptions and Confidence: Transforming Science Learning with Engineering Design
Using Wonder to Inspire Poets
These sessions could potentially transform my instruction and mesmerize my students. My hope is that these Professional Learning courses will not only inform my instruction but also help me deepen scientific understanding in my colleagues as well. Will you help me with my request?
