My Project
I am a special education teacher and have the privilege of teaching twelve of the sweetest 3rd-6th grade students. My students face many challenges in and out of the classroom. Not only do they have a disability, but most come from low-income, single-family homes. My job as their teacher is to create a safe and engaging classroom where they can develop a love for learning.
Having a snack bin in the classroom will help students focus or I will be able to give them something before they head home.
There are no nut allergies, but items like chips, granola bars, cheez-its, etc would be great. Thank you for taking an interest in my project and for supporting my students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
