Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students in my class consist of happy and energetic 1st graders that are trying to live through Covid. My student population is 85% bilingual and unfortunately, the majority come from low socio-economic status with 90% being coded as at risk. As a teacher in my school, I try to give these students everything I can in order for them to be successful lifelong learners.

My Project

My students are wonderful and intelligent first graders! They come from a low socio economic area of the city. Since they eat very early I am noticing that by the end of the afternoon my students are getting hungry again . Unfortunately, my parents can not afford to send them snacks daily to overcome this. This is why I would like to ask for a donation of tasty snacks to help them make it through the day! These snacks are sure to bring a smile to their faces. Thank you for your support!
