This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since the return of in person learning, my students have embraced and enjoyed talking about math. Several times a week, we have a math talk, where students work together when solving math problems and talk out their answer and explanations. I am asking for chart paper and an easel so students can visualize the math talks.

Help me help my students talk their way through solving math problems.

By having the chart paper and easel, students can visually see how other students work out the math problems and better understand the concept. Students enjoy talking and explaining their thinking, and the chart paper and easel will allow this to happen more efficiently in my classroom.
