Talking About Black History

Help me give my students Black History Month resources to use in speech therapy.

My Project

This project contains materials to use in speech therapy for our school's Black History Month celebration. The books will be used during lessons to reinforce language/vocabulary, articulation, and fluency targets.

With these new books, my students will be able to work on speech therapy targets while learning about Black History.

The ABC's of Black History book and the Black History biography book set will be used throughout the month. Each child will select one book to read portions aloud and then will answer questions about their historical figure. The bracelets and goldfish crackers will be used as incentives for working on goals.
