This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special in the true sense of the word. I am a Special Education Resource teacher and I work with kids who need our love and attention and help in academics in order to be successful. Working with kids on one-on-one setting, gives me an opportunity to get an insight into the lives of our kids and some of the challenges they try to overcome each day.
My Project
The material I am requesting will help my Special Education students to learn and practice the concepts taught in a fun and interesting manner. Today, the technology greatly helps and influences our kids. Students who have very short attention span can benefit a lot by these tablets.
It will also take boredom out of the everyday learning and if this makes them come to my resource room happily, then my job is DONE!!!!!!!!!
It will also help my students to use the device for times when it is required to work from home as we are witnessing now.
