My Project
As both an English teacher and basketball coach at my small Title I school, I believe in the power of teamwork. I have witnessed first hand the way building a community can bond students together, lift them up, and grow their drive to succeed.
We are a school team of true beginners, who have been working hard with limited and old equipment.
These much-needed basketballs will help each of my student-athletes to be able to practice their basics independently, as well as improve their teamwork. It will also be a needed boost to their morale and be a simple gesture to show that we believe in them!
