My Project
All year, my students have been working hard every day engaging in whole and small group lessons. They work in small groups to learn pre-readiness, communication and social emotional skills. Learning to wait your turn and sharing can be a hard and frustrating task for any pre-school aged child, but it's even more stressful for students who have developmental and communication delays.
I want to make learning these vital social emotional and communication skills fun and rewarding with engaging materials and games.
Funding this project will allow my students to engage in appropriate learning in a new and exciting way. The duck game, food slicing toys and school buses will last for years and teach important social-emotional skills to students like taking turns, patience, and sportsmanship.
