Erma Bombeck said "Children make your life important" and that is exactly what my students do for me. They are amazing young people who are kind, empathetic, smart, and incredibly funny as they are discovering what their place in this world is.
In our classroom community, we focus on how our unique diversity makes us special.
My classroom is made up of students whose backgrounds come from all walks of life. We work hard to build strong foundational relationships so that learning and growth can take place. 5th grade is such a delightful age to teach. The students really enjoy learning and exploring and love being at school. Together we make learning fun and exciting!
My Project
In my classroom students get what they need at an individual level. Each student’s learning needs are as unique as they are! Many students struggle with reading. They want to love reading but don’t have the skills they need to truly enjoy the books the choose. This project would give my students a digital program they can use at school and at home to improve their reading and obtain the reading skills they need to be life long readers! It is my goal, with this project, to give those struggling readers the boost they need!
