My Students
Our school is a Title I school, located in a small, rural county. Our classrooms are filled with a diverse makeup of students that include English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and gifted students.
Our students are very eager to learn, and they come to school excited for a new day.
Most of our students come from low-income households where there are limited budgets for school materials and supplies; however, their families are very supportive and very involved in our school community!
My Project
I am requesting a subscription to MobyMax, an online learning site, in order to provide a personalized learning experience in all subject areas for my students. The adaptive, common core based curriculum offers direct and differentiated instruction, as well as an individualized education plan for each student. Gifted students are able to accelerate, while remedial students get the extra instruction they need.
Due to COVID-19, it is possible that next school year might involve distance learning.
If so, MobyMax will allow me to provide my students with interactive and live lessons. It will encourage students to stay engaged during distance learning by providing them with incentives, such as certificates and game time. Also, MobyMax will allow me to continuously monitor the progress of their performance.
