My Project

This project will aid the needs of students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Depending on the age we will take a closer look at the weather. The poster will start our adventure into learning about weather, predicting weather and weather tools. The outdoor weatherproof cabinet will be placed in a central location outside. This cabinet will house informational posters related to weather and climate. The central location of the poster will allow students to visit this poster during their recess time and walking into the school. The various weather tools will be placed around the campus to allow easy access for their observations. The What's the Weather? children's book and STEM Starters for Kids Meteorology Activity book will help to pique their curiosity about weather and weather tools.

It is my goal to encourage the students to gather weather data and record their observations in their STEM lab journals.
