My Students

My students are a wonderful group! They love technology and science. They love hands-on activities and are very engaged in lessons that involve projects. My students work hard to succeed and are so excited to learn new things. I love watching them discover new things and see the pride they have when they do something well. I have many students that go the extra mile and constantly impress me.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and learning styles.

I have some students in resource, some English Language Learners and some that are very gifted. Despite these differences, they never cease to amaze me with how much each one of them learns and grows. They work together as a team and we learn to celebrate the differences. Every student is important in our class and every student is needed. I could not ask for a better group. They are amazing!

My Project

This project is all about building reading skills at home with my students. Some of my students don't have any books at home to read. I have a program in my classroom where I send home books with my students to read with their families. They get a new book every night. This is wonderful for helping my students to love reading because they get a variety of different books to enjoy.

Not only will these books help my students with reading skills, but it will help parents to be more involved in my students' lives.

I am so excited at the prospect of having new books for my students to explore and love.
