Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project has two parts. The first part focuses on learning about our bodies, while the second part focuses on keeping our bodies calm. Adding these materials to my high school Health class will allow me to plan lessons with models surrounding our bodies, heart, lungs, brain, and bones.

Even in high school, students need a way to gain effective and helpful self-regulation.

By using fidgets and sensory balls for calming, my hope is to promote focusing and concentration, decrease stress, and find a way to keep fidgeting fingers busy!
