Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of first graders, who love absorbing new information, and questioning how things work around them. They ask many questions, and often share their new ideas with both teachers and peers.
For this project, I have requested safety mirrors and jumbo magnifiers, as well as a class subscription of Scholastic magazines to support our scientific explorations.
These tools would help students to actively engage with peers, as they explore and read about the world around them.
Your contribution to this project would help support building important observational and conversational skills, as these young scholars share new ideas and interesting facts from "Taking a Better Look."
