My Kindergarten students attend an urban charter school which is in its first year and lacking supplies.
My 20 inclusion students are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of their time here at school. I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible.
My Project
Studies show that there is a 30-million-word deficit in young students who come from high poverty areas. This iPad 3 and protective case will be used to Skype with special readers each day for silent sustained reading. Students will be able to access other students, parents, and friends who are located miles away with just a touch of a screen. This iPad 3 with Skype will bring many joyful memories and exciting stories to our classroom! Any step to bridge this gap is a step in the right direction! Will you help?
