My Project
Becoming better readers is as simple as helping kids realize that reading is enjoyable. Students frequently choose a graphic novel because the illustrations and graphics are less intimidating than a page full of words like those found in traditional books.
Kids who read these graphic novels discover that reading is an adventure and start reading more for pleasure.
For those who struggle to read, graphic novels can open the door to increased reading abilities. These books will be a huge hit with my students and will assist me in encouraging them to explore the world through print.
