My Students
My wonderful students in my 2nd grade class are eager learners and are motivated to succeed in all that they do. They attend a Title I school, which means that the majority of the students qualify for free/reduced lunches. This doesn't hold them back from coming to school every day and giving their best!
My students possess a diverse set of learning skills and my goal is to differentiate my instruction to meet all of their strengths and needs.
With the help of Donors Choose, I will be better equipped to meet most, if not all of their goals.
My Project
Students need the ability to move around the room and interact with each other in more ways than just sitting at their desks. A classroom rug will allow students the freedom to move around, engage in conversations through "think-pair-share" where they can easily turn and talk about classroom topics while sitting on a plush new classroom rug!
My students need a new rug to come together for whole group lessons instead of sitting on the cold, hard classroom floor.
It's so uncomfortable for them to come together as a group and I want to create a pleasant environment for them to learn and succeed.
