This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning a second language has a lot of challenges. There are a lot of new words to learn and words to pronounce. There is a culture to absorb that has not been experienced before. But when your teens are not in the proper headspace, the most exciting lessons won't make a dent.
A calming area with the right tools helps bring the student back to a good place.
With the the anxiety relief plush, the weighted pillow, and the anxiety sensor stickers and rings, students will have a chance to breathe and get back into the headspace they rather be in. That is every teacher's goal.
