My Project
The Meta Quest 2 VR headset is a game changer for teaching STEM while learning about ancient civilizations! I plan to use this tool to teach about the architectural genius of Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India, Greece, and Rome by taking my students to some of the most iconic structures of these civilizations virtually.
Our school is located on the outskirts of Sacramento, in California's Central Valley.
Only a handful have even traveled outside our state, let alone know the wonders that exist in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Having this tool will help foster an interest in our past while making connections to their present. With any luck, experiencing the world within our classroom will encourage them to see it in person later in life!
