My students need a set of 19 baseball gloves in order to enjoy America's favorite sport.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Cudmore's classroom raised $548
This project is fully funded
I teach Physical Education for 300 6th-8th grade students. A large portion of our students are on free/reduced lunch. Many of our students have come out of the city-school system and are looking for a better future.
We are very lucky to have a new school. However, when they built the school, they didn't send us any equipment. Our equipment is handed down, worn, and very limited.
Right now, our school has one baseball glove. In order for our students to learn America's pastime, they need the proper equipment. Most of our students can't afford to play community baseball and would like to have a chance to enjoy the game.
You can make it possible for these students to enjoy a game that most of America has grown up loving. A set of gloves will allow students to actually play the game and learn the skills. One day they will be able to pass that along to their children.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
