My Project

I teach in a special education Early Childhood classroom. These students are 3-5 years old with a variety of needs and abilities. Many of my students come from low income families, so fostering learning opportunities at home is a big part of our job as teachers. Many families have limited resources to work and build on their child's literacy and reading skills.

I am creating a program to share books and activities to go home with the students.

These books will provide opportunities for families to read and build literacy skills at home.
