My students are eager to create and collaborate! It is my goal to be sure all of their learning tools are in good working condition and provide them with a creative environment to blossom. My students take very good care of the materials in our classroom and are careful to maintain the integrity of all things provided for their learning. Completing work is an easy task for my students when they are given both the proper tools and environment. They are hard workers and enjoy the flexibility in STEM class. Often, I am in awe of the creativity and thought put into not only their final product but also their work leading up to the completion of that product.

My Project
Imagine the ability to take your work space anywhere you wanted during the school day without losing a comfortable and sturdy desktop! These SURF portable desks give students the option of doing their work in spaces not normally used during the day such as outdoors, on the floor, and on any chair. These mobile desks ensure students have a place for a laptop, notebook, and/or manipulative materials wherever they are needed. Students will no longer be restricted to stationary desk when they need to write or type in a more comfortable environment.
The SURF portable desks provide the perfect learning environment for students collaborating on projects as well as completing an individual assignment where they may need their own space.
It is exciting to have the ability to provide choice in the space where students will be expected to work. Allowing students to take ownership of their space creates an environment for creativity and critical thinking to flourish.
