This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with some of the most amazing students, so When I am in a position to gain more info, I always try to apply it to my Special Ed team as well as my lower-grade team. Often our kids are not allowed to participate in a lot of the things around the school so I've decided to create a sensor garden. A place where they can be interactive and intellectually stimulated. We are a Title 1 school and funds are not as plentiful as others so we make do with what we have, but it would be nice to conduct an activity regarding plants and being right in the midst of them Once the students grow the plants and vegetables we will work on how to sell them and contribute to the community.
