This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of my students have attention deficits and are unable to sit for long periods of time to complete their assignments. These standing desk will allow them to take a break from sitting for the entire class period, and have the option to stand and work on their assignment and stay on task. It will also be used as a signal when a student needs some assistance or a break without them having to feel embarrassed. It will add to a safe environment that is conducive to learning in the classroom.
