This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Like the most beautiful woven tapestry you've ever seen, my students are from diverse cultural backgrounds spanning the globe. All of them are actively and eagerly learning English as a second language.

These hard workers deserve a classroom environment that is engaging and functional.

I often put students in pairs and groups so they can help each other as they learn English together. Flexible seating is a fun and practical way to manage different groups. I also need seats like these stacking stools that work in the small space that I share with another teacher.
