My Students

Our school has been for many years a Pre-K through grade 5 community and Title I school servicing children from a Housing Development in Brooklyn.

We are now a Magnet School for STEM Studies and our focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics integration.

As a school of choice, we aim to attract students from diverse social, economic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. Students from all districts and all boroughs can attend our school.

We prepare students to meet the academic standards and provide for the development of strong character.

My Project

We are creating a Digital Media Library for the students of our school. We have the books. We have the desks. We have the computers. We need chairs!

The ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer successfully is one step towards college and career preparedness.

Chairs will allow our students to sit at computers, engage in online learning and do research projects. In an effort to make learning accessible for all, comfortable and flexible seating is important.

It is definitely a challenge to use a computer at a desk without a chair to sit in. A chair is a necessary tool. We are hoping that you will be able to help us outfit our Digital Media Library with these chairs.
