My Project

Flexible seating like floor seats and wobble cushions benefit students in many ways, both academically and socially. When students can choose where and how they sit, they feel more comfortable and in control, which helps them focus better on their work. Some students might do their best thinking while sitting on a bean bag, while others may prefer standing at a tall table or sitting on a stool. Having these choices can reduce stress and help students feel more relaxed in the classroom.

It also supports different learning styles and needs.

For example, students who have trouble sitting still for long periods can use seating that lets them move slightly without distracting others. This helps them stay engaged and avoid getting in trouble for things like fidgeting or leaving their seats.

Flexible seating also encourages students to work together more easily. Instead of being stuck in rows, they can move around and work in groups, pairs, or independently, depending on the activity. This builds teamwork and communication skills. Overall, flexible seating makes the classroom feel more welcoming and helps students learn in ways that work best for them.
