This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are lucky enough to have had a project funded earlier this school year for 12 new chairs. I have 21 students and need more new chairs to ensure each student in my class has one of these wonderful new chairs. I came to my new school two years ago. My classroom has a mix of different-sized chairs that many wobble. They are old and losing screws. I am moving to fourth grade next year (but keeping the same room) and would love to have chairs that fit my new students. Some students will have been my former third graders and I am hoping to make this classroom feel new.
These colorful chairs will brighten our classroom.
They have bottoms that will not scratch the floor, so I can get rid of those awful tennis balls! Please help me get my students new furniture for our new school year!
