Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a place where students are encouraged to explore, collaborate, and grow every day. To support their learning, I’m working to create a more organized and comfortable space that meets their needs, both physically and academically.

This project will add a display bookcase and flexible seating chairs to give students choice in where and how they work.

Some students focus best when they have the ability to move slightly or sit somewhere more comfortable, and these chairs will offer them that freedom.

I’m also requesting a bookshelf to help keep our materials and books organized and easy to access. A well-organized space not only reduces distractions, it also teaches students responsibility and ownership over their environment.

With your support, our classroom will be a more welcoming, efficient, and student-centered place to learn.
