Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our third-grade classroom, small group instruction is where students get the support they need to grow as readers, writers, and problem solvers. Whether they’re tackling challenging math concepts, strengthening their writing skills, or diving into a great book, this space is essential for personalized learning. Unfortunately, our stools are falling apart, making it difficult for students to stay comfortable and engaged during these critical lessons.

New stools will provide my students with a stable and comfortable place to focus and learn.

Having reliable seating means fewer distractions, better posture, and an environment where students feel ready to participate. These stools will allow my students to fully engage in discussions, collaborate with their peers, and build confidence in their skills, all without worrying about wobbly or broken seats.

My students are hardworking, curious, and eager to learn, despite the challenges they may face. Many of them are still developing foundational skills, and small group instruction is a key part of their success. With your support, we can create a welcoming and functional learning space that helps every student thrive. Thank you for helping us build a stronger foundation for learning, one seat at a time!
