Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach AP Photography to 10th thru 12th graders. My students enter the class with little to no knowledge of photography techniques, styles, or composition. Throughout the course they learn about design principles, elements of art and a variety of photography styles such as landscape, portrait, street and light photography. They then put what they have learned into practice.

The addition of macro and wide camera lenses along with a photography light box will allow them to expand their knowledge and further develop their photography skills to produce detailed close up pictures using the macro lens, amazing landscape images with the wide lens and high quality product photography images as a gateway to product marketing and advertising.

These highly requested materials will be a welcome addition to our classroom. My students will be very appreciative for any donations received.
