I need financial assistance for a 200-hour yoga online teacher training, so that I can bring social-emotional learning practices, wellness, and yoga to my classroom and school.

My Project

I recently received training on trauma-informed care. One of the major tenets of helping brains recover from trauma is regulation. In addition to working with students who have trauma, I also work with students who have struggles with regulating their body.

I want to support students (and adults!) who work in and out of my classroom to help regulate their systems.

Life can be stressful, and teaching techniques to help out during stressful times will benefit all people involved. This training will further my education in social-emotional learning. I feel that this training will have a larger impact than just one year of students-- it will have a continuing positive effect on the larger community.
