My Students
Our second-graders love to engage and challenge each other. They come to school excited to see each other, ready to share, and explore learning.
Our kids focus on building relationships and partnering with peers to see learning from different perspectives.
We work hard to understand our different experiences and background which gives us all an opportunity to learn from each other. We love to communicate with each other and ask questions. The best part is when we notice the learning and celebrate together.
My Project
We are requesting to attend a National Literacy Conference to inspire our individuality as we teach our students. By attending this conference, we are able to self-select sessions that fit our teaching style as well as the individual needs of our students.
Learning from the experts, we want to explore best practices to engage our readers and writers to see all students grow academically.
By attending this conference we will focus on effective practices to improve student learning. We will be able to implement learned practices immediately and keep them in our repertoire of teaching for many years to come.
