Taiko Drumming Bobcats!

My Project

Music students at our school learn about music from all around the world! We need your help in providing the materials to creatively make taiko drums in our classroom. These yoga balls will serve as a perfect drum in our large classes and enable students to enjoy creating rhythmic patterns together without the loud overstimulating sounds. Many of our students are sensitive to loud sounds but also really enjoy creating rhythms with drums.

During our unit with Taiko Drumming, it is my hope to create a softer-sounding experience for our younger students while also giving them materials they can drum on with much enthusiasm!

These yoga balls will allow over 400 students to create drumming in music!
