My Students

Tag You're It! Do you remember a time you were reading and you came to a word that you didn't know? What did you do?

I teach kindergarten in a high need community with a high population of ESOL learners in my classroom.

My students have minimal resources to work with. They enjoy learning and reading. They love to immerse themselves in using technology in the classroom.

My Project

The Tag Reading System would allow my students the opportunity to read independently and with friends. When they come to a word they don't know, all they have to do is touch the word with the Tag system and instantly have the word read to them! What a great way to use technology in the classroom to foster a love for reading!

The Tag system immerses them in their reading and allows stories to come alive as they read!

Your help will ensure that my students receive additional support in learning to read, and gain a love for reading. You will make it possible for my students to learn new words, and read independently, which thus helps them to be become successful readers!
