My Students
My pre-k students are inquisitive individuals that work, play and create wonderfully together, within a multicultural diverse class.
My students have learned how to share, cooperate, and respect each other not only at school, but the parents confirm that it's happening at home as well.
Some of their favorite activities are center time and outdoor play.
Although, they especially enjoy music and movement with instruments. This is where they express themselves without inhibition, knowing it's a safe place. Our school environment and community provides that.
My Project
Remote learning is not easy for my kindergarteners, but they are working hard and doing their best. Unfortunately, my students are in need of math and writing supplies to engage with and make learning more meaningful. During our daily math lessons, the students will be able to participate in using counters and ten frames to make groups, pairs and compare. My students are identifying letters and learning how to put them together to make words which will lead to sentences. The writing process is hands-on and my students need the supplies in order to be successful.
