This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students that are part of the Autism spectrum. My class ranges from transitional Kindergarten through 2nd grade. My students are part of the general education classrooms.
Help me give my students tools that are engaging and tactile to use to during centers.
My classroom is run using centers and we rotate every 15 minutes.
The touch math sensory cards will help during small group to help with learning numbers, will help with one to one correspondence.
It’s a snap math centers will help to visualize with adding and subtracting while using manipulative for my visual learners.
The find the number activity will help with learning the numbers from a set, will help with fine motor skills and hand to eye coordination.
Learning letters activity set will help for English language arts so my students can build the letters, learn letters and sounds using hangs on methods.
Many of my students are non-verbal. The set to build vocabulary will make it fun and engaging while being hands on.
Help me give my students tools that they will use and cherish throughout the years to come.
