This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is a wonderful combination of students with different abilities & disabilities. We have five wonderful busy kiddos who have a love for learning & a love for story time. However, we only have a few books in our classroom library that are appropriate for a severe needs classroom setting

Our students would benefit greatly from tactile board books because they can easily turn the pages and they can count items easier by either touching tactile pictures or pushing in the bubble on poke-a-dot books.

These books would be a wonderful asset to our classroom as they also line up with the monthly themes.

Please consider helping us to grow our classroom library with books that are appropriate for kiddos with special needs.
