My students need to organize now for this year's first Lego League Robotics competition!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Muller's classroom raised $965

My Students
I Robot. Unfortunately, we don't have enough robots for both classroom use and team competition. I am asking for the new EV3 for my 2 teams - one girls' team, one boys' team- so that they have dedicated robots to use that the class will not be able to touch.
My students are low income, bright kids who need a good push and good resources.
While I have parent support emotionally, I cannot ask for financial support. We have a Title I school and that means that most of our population is eligible for free lunch. We are pushing a STEM program in our school that is important both to the future of my students, as well of the future of us as a country.
My Project
These materials are mainly for my robotics teams. We have won awards in the past with very limited resources, but I feel they could do so much better with resources that are dedicated specifically to them so the classes don't undo all their hard work! The new robots will give us an edge, the tackle boxes will keep the teams organized and ready, and the folders are for both the team and the classes to organize their written work.
The biggest complaint that I had last year from both the team and the classes was that there wasn't enough resources to go around.
Instead of groups of 3 (which are ideal), the students were in groups of 4 -5 which makes sharing tasks and information difficult.
Donating to this project will allow both my teams and my classes to be able to delve more deeply into the work that we do and hopefully garner another win for my teams!
