My Students
First grade is such a wonderful age to teach! The children are loving, kind, and still excited about learning. My students are curious and enjoy learning, especially when it is made fun! Our school is a Title I school, where ninety-nine percent of families receive free lunch. Most of my students come from low-income households and have minimal access to technology. My goal is to provide students with a well-rounded learning educational experience that they may not necessarily experience otherwise.
My Project
These tablets will make a huge difference in student learning in the classroom. It will spark further curiosity for learning. Tablets are portable and are easy to take along for learning experiences. Students will be able to use the tablets to engage in Phonics, Math, and ELA activities that reinforces learning. They can also practice their reading skills by exploring apps such as Epic, where they have unlimited access to books.
These tablets will bring a fresh exciting new experience, as well as spark further curiosity for learning.They are great for young students to use and its usage promotes automony and independence.
These tablets will allow me to adapt materials to meet my students individual needs, engage students, and make lessons more interactive. The possibilities of use with these are endless!
