Tablets Make The Best Center!

My students need tablets to complete activities for learning at centers. These tablets will make sight word practice and math fluency more fun!

My Students

"I grew 2 levels," a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in East Nashville where 100% receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!

My students are full of love!

I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Everyday we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day they grow socially and academically to be their best self.

My Project

Right now our classroom has 3 tablets. Our center groups are all 6-7 students. We are hoping to get this funded so that we can have 4 more tablets and everyone in the group can use tablets instead of sharing. We use tablets for sight word activities, math fluency activities, and reading.

Our goal is for every student to know all 100 sight words by the end of the year, but studying lists gets boring.

With tablets there are fun activities to build sight word and math fluency knowledge. Students are very engaged on tablets which helps small groups run even more smoothly. Tablets will help our growth immensely.
