My Students

My students are 2nd graders . They are in Chinese Dual Immersion Program, so half a day they are in Chinese classroom. My students love to learn Chinese, they like to speak Chinese, read Chinese and write Chinese. They enjoy the language and work hard to be good at the language.

My students are hard workers.

They do their best to practice Chinese. The students like to practice their handwriting especially with markers. So markers are very needed in our classroom. During the past year and a half, in order to keep everyone safe, we have to sanitizer everything we can share, including the markers. The extra work just made our learning time limited. So if we can get some writing tablets for each of the student, which can save us more time to practice writing.

My Project

We are always out of markers. They use tons of markers to practice math and Chinese characters. Sometimes they write on their desks. I feel their hands are always dirty, their clothes are dirty to wipe the markers.

I am always thinking if we can get each of them a writing tablet, they can get enough practice without using so many markers.

The students can use the tablets to practice writing and make their handwriting clean. The students can keep healthy without using their hands or clothes to wipe-off markers.

The tablet pen is similar to the pencil we use, the students' Chinese handwriting can be improved a lot.
