My Students

Hey, my name is Mrs. Duggan. I am a first-year teacher at TRE. I work at a Title I school. Most of the student population receive free or reduced lunch. I am so excited to be in my first year and can not wait to inspire future leaders! My hope as a teacher is that I can provide a caring, student-centered learning environment. I can not wait to start this new lesson! Thank you for taking the time to look into our classroom project!

My Project

I love using pencil and paper. I like not only seeing the students answers and responses, but I like seeing their handwriting as well. I was never the biggest fan of technology. It seems as if something always goes wrong, either the wifi or a computer or tablet is dead. BUT I also believe that students need a break now and then, they need a way to let loose but still be engaged and learning. I though what about tablets. It Is a great way for students to think they are having fun and taking a break, but it is still educational! WIN WIN!
