This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergarten students would greatly benefit from having 4 tablets in our classroom as a center.
I work at a Title 1 Spanish dual immersion school of a diverse population.
I have 26 students in my class made up of native Spanish speakers, English only, and students who are bilingual in both languages. As a team our class works together on the goal of being bilingual and biliterate. I have high expectations for my students and am doing everything I can to get the necessary tools and materials that can help enhance their language.
My Project
We have 2 different centers blocks everyday for reading groups and for math. My students and I would love it if tablets could be one of the centers. There are so many apps available that would help enhance the learning of my students in a fun way. Technology is another way to incorporate multiple intelligences. We all learn in different ways and these tablets would serve as another tool to practice a skill we are going over.
In today's society technology is very important.
I would like to provide my students with the best education and these 4 tablets would benefit them greatly. We would truly appreciate the donation.
